Jazz
Our junior classes are based on the NZAMD Jazz examination syllabus. Students prepare for and take examinations while developing a high level of technical skill in an enjoyable, challenging, structured environment.
We use the NZAMD syllabus which provides structure, foundation and layering of skills, and open classes. We also offer technique classes where students train in the technical aspects of the style.
Red Studio has an advanced Competitive Troupe programme - Perspective Training Academy which focuses on tying together technical skill, stylised choreography, and performing/competing as a team.
Notes:
- Exam fees are on top of term fees and the price goes up per grade. There are no extras added to exam fees and they are paid directly to NZAMD.
- Examiners travel from around NZ to adjudicate.
- We offer extra workshop classes for each grade at $10.00 per student per extra class.
- Mock exams are at no charge
- NZAMD jazz classes require a specific uniform
